In Sanskrit vinyasa means “to place in a special way.” In this class, we will flow through a dynamic sequence of traditional Sun Salutations and standing postures, linking breath to movement as we build strength, endurance, balance and flexibility.

In this class students will link gentle movements to breath, creating space in the joints, while strengthening and stretching various muscle groups. In a Viniyoga approach, poses are tailored towards the needs of each individual, making the class appropriate for students of all levels, as well as students with injuries. Breath work and guided meditation will be added for a complete mind/body experience.
Free your spine with some low back love! With the intention of easing back discomfort, this all levels class is designed to open and release those areas which we habitually compress in our daily lives. No previous yoga experience needed.
Yoga for Mobility is about creating space and decompressing areas that have become shortened due to the things we do on a daily basis. The gentle movements, which increase blood flow, are effective in relieving pain and supporting optimal function of the joints, muscles and organs while calming the nervous system. This class is appropriate for students with injuries as well as students looking to increase their strength, flexibility, and general well-being.
Urban Zen Integrative Therapy luxuriously layers modalities such as mindful movements, gentle stretches, comfy restorative postures, aromatherapy, breath awareness, guided meditation, and reiki for the ultimate relaxing experience. Tension literally melts away from body and mind in these relaxing sessions. This class is accessible to yogis of all levels, and can be private or in a group setting.
Diving deeper into topics through a workshop is a great way to expand beyond your traditional yoga asana practice. Featured topics will be offered in workshop format. Check back for upcoming workshops.
Reiki, a spiritual healing art of Japanese origin, derives from the Japanese words "Rei" which means “Universal Life” and "Ki" which means “Energy”.
Reiki is a light touch healing practice that moves the recipient's system toward balance. The sense of calm that Reiki provides reduces the nervous system's stress response, restores physical and emotional well-being, and invites deep relaxation, allowing the body to heal itself.
As a Reiki Master, Elisa has facilitated Reiki Sessions at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and UCLA RRMC, and is available for private Reiki Sessions.
